About

Cage me a Peacock is a non-profit artist-run-initiative in the historical Nicholas Building, Melbourne. The Cage provides a space for eccentric, challenging and exciting interdisciplinary local and international artists. We provide an opportunity for audiences to experience a diverse range of artistic practices in an intimate setting in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD. We accept proposals on a rolling basis from emerging, mid-career and established artists, curators and collectives to present exhibitions, performances, screenings and events. The Cage is also available to hire for photo-shoots, pop-up shops and private functions.
